How to Install dput software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

dput software package provides Debian package upload tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dput

dput is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dput package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dput *

You will get with dput package name, version, architecture and description in a table
